Delete your ArtizanSquare account

You can delete your ArtizanSquare account and the data linked to it at any time, from the ArtizanSquare app, from our website, or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

In the ArtizanSquare app

  1. Open the ArtizanSquare app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile tab to open your Account centre.
  3. Scroll down and tap Delete account, then Continue.
  4. Type DELETE and confirm. You are signed out and your account is deleted straight away.

On the website

  1. Sign in at artizansquare.com/profile.
  2. Click Delete account and confirm.
  3. Type DELETE and click Delete now.

Can't sign in? Email us

Email hello@artizansquare.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my ArtizanSquare account". We may ask you to confirm it is you, then delete the account within 30 days and email you when it is done.

If you have a business or artizan profile

  • Business owners: delete each business first from the Business dashboard, under Settings → Delete business. We email you a code to confirm. Deleting your account also removes any business you still own.
  • Artizans: the first deletion removes your artizan profile and keeps your customer account. Repeat the steps above to delete the account itself.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, phone number and username
  • Your password, passkeys and sign-in sessions
  • Your profile photo and saved locations
  • The identity documents and selfie from identity checks (KYC)
  • The devices registered for notifications
  • Your artizan profile, its skills, phone numbers and reviews, if you have one
  • Any business you own, with its services, staff and records, if you delete it first as below

What is kept, and for how long

Payments, subscriptions and invoices
Kept with your name, email and phone removed, so they no longer identify you, for as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to 6 years.
Bookings and messages you sent to businesses
Each business keeps its own record of bookings made with it and messages sent to it, as its customer records. The link to your ArtizanSquare account is removed.
A record that your account was deleted
Your username, email and the reason you gave, so we can confirm the deletion and handle a complaint or fraud report. Deleted after 90 days.
Security and fraud log
Sign-in, booking, identity-check and payout events, with the location recorded at the time. Each entry is deleted 365 days after it was made.
Free-trial record
A one-way fingerprint of the identity document used for a free trial, with no name attached, so the same document cannot claim a second trial.
Anything under a legal hold
Data we are required to keep for an open investigation or a court or regulator's order, until that ends.

Copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten as the backups expire. For more on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
