We do not track you continuously or in the background.Your location is not read between these actions. If you refuse location access, you can still use every feature — we record only that location was not shared.
We do this because we have a legitimate interest in preventing fraud, and because we must keep a trustworthy record to meet our legal obligations. We keep these records for 12 months and then delete them automatically. The only exception is a record that is part of an open fraud investigation or legal proceedings; we keep that until the matter is closed. If you delete your account, these records are kept until their 12 months run out, so that fraud cannot be hidden by deleting an account.

ArtizanSquare uses artificial intelligence to answer customer questions, recommend Artizans, help close sales, take bookings and collect payment inside chats on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and our website, and to power search and business-facing automations such as reminders and review requests. When you message a business on ArtizanSquare, the reply you receive may be generated by this AI rather than typed by a person.

We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way.
We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
When you connect WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram, we import a limited amount of your existing conversation history so your inbox is not empty on day one. This imported history, including any images or files attached to it, is deleted from our servers after 14 days. Files larger than 5 MB are never copied to our servers at all.
Deleting imported history does not delete your conversations — WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram remain the permanent home of your messages, and older conversations are always available in those apps. Messages sent or received through ArtizanSquare after you connect are part of your business records and are kept for as long as your account is active.
Our services are not intended for children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information immediately.
We keep what is stored on your device to what the service needs to work, and we measure how the site is used without storing anything on your device.
Only what you need to use ArtizanSquare: keeping you signed in, protecting your account, remembering choices you make (such as light or dark mode, or the business you are managing), bookings you make while offline, and the invitation or referral link you arrived through, so the discount or credit attached to it reaches you.
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking pixels, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
We run our own measurement, on our own servers, to understand how ArtizanSquare is used and to keep it working. It is not shared with advertisers or any analytics company. We record:
To count visitors we do not place a cookie or any identifier on your device. Each day we work out a short code from your network address and browser type, mixed with a secret. The code changes every day, cannot be turned back into your address, and cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next. Your network address is stored only with its last part removed. Addresses of pages are recorded without the part after the question mark, so details in a link are not kept.
We rely on our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving the service. You can object to this measurement at any time by writing to us using the contact details in this policy, and we will exclude your account from it.
When a member of ArtizanSquare staff changes something on your account or business (for example reviewing a verification, assigning an account officer or removing a review), we record what was done, when, and by which member of staff. We keep this to prevent misuse and to answer questions about decisions that affect you.
