1. Introduction

Welcome to ArtizanSquare. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ArtizanSquare website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Definitions

In these Terms:

"ArtizanSquare," "we," "us," and "our" refer to ArtizanSquare Inc.
"User," "you," and "your" refer to any individual or entity using our Services.
"Artizan" refers to a service provider who offers services through our platform.
"Customer" refers to a user who seeks services from Artizans through our platform.
"Content" refers to text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information, or other materials.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your account and password
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Note: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, false, or no longer current.

4. User Conduct

When using our Services, you agree not to:

Any writeup, image, video, profile material, review, gallery item, service description, or other content that contains NSFW, adult, sexual, nude, explicit, or pornographic material violates these Terms. We may remove the content, deactivate the account, and require an appeal before access is restored.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Content & Material

×NSFW, adult, sexual, nude, explicit, or pornographic content (images, videos, descriptions, or links)
×Violence, harm, or threats against individuals or groups
×Hate speech, discrimination, or content targeting protected characteristics
×Misleading, false, or deceptive information presented as factual
×Copyright-infringing, plagiarized, or stolen content
×Personal information (PII) of others without consent
×Spam, marketing links, or unsolicited commercial promotions
×Malware, phishing links, or other security threats

Prohibited Activities & Conduct

!Account abuse: creating fake accounts, using multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, or selling/sharing accounts
!Automated scraping: using bots, scripts, or tools to extract platform data without authorization
!Fraud or deception: misrepresenting identity, services, qualifications, or experience
!Harassment: targeted abuse, threats, intimidation, or persistent unwanted contact
!Payment fraud: chargebacks, using stolen payment methods, or payment disputes from legitimate transactions
!Review manipulation: fake reviews, incentivized reviews, or reviews of your own services/accounts
!Unauthorized access: attempting to breach security systems or access restricted areas
!Terms evasion: attempting to circumvent our policies through alternate methods or accounts

Enforcement & Consequences

Tier 1: Warning or Content Removal

Minor first-time violations. We may remove the content and send a warning with guidance on acceptable use.

Tier 2: Account Suspension

Repeated violations or serious misconduct. Your account will be temporarily restricted (7–30 days). You cannot post content or offer services during suspension.

Tier 3: Account Deactivation

Severe violations, repeated after suspension, or egregious conduct (NSFW violations, fraud, harassment, etc.). Your account will be permanently deactivated.

Appeals & Review Process

If your account is suspended or deactivated, you may submit an appeal to ArtizanSquare Trust and Safety within 30 days of the action:

1.Email trust@artizansquare.com with your account email and a detailed explanation
2.Provide evidence that the violation was a misunderstanding or has been resolved
3.Our Trust and Safety team will review and respond within 7 business days
4.Appeals decisions are final; we will not re-review rejected appeals

Automated Content Moderation

ArtizanSquare uses automated tools and manual review to detect violations of this policy. We employ content safety systems that scan images, videos, and text. False positives can occur. If you believe your content was incorrectly flagged, submit an appeal to trust@artizansquare.com with details.

6. Artizan Services

• Provide accurate profile information
• Services with reasonable care and skill
• Comply with all applicable laws
• Pay applicable fees and commissions

CFor Customers

• Provide accurate service needs
• Pay agreed-upon prices
• Platform connects, doesn't guarantee quality
• Provide honest and fair reviews

7. Payments and Fees

Payment Terms

All payments are processed through secure payment systems
Customers agree to pay the full amount for services as specified
Artizans agree to pay ArtizanSquare a service fee for each completed transaction
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified
We reserve the right to change our fee structure with reasonable notice

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation Terms

ArtizanSquare does not assume liability for cancellations or disputes
Customers may cancel according to Artizan's policy
Late cancellations may incur a fee

Refund Terms

Refunds for non-delivery or quality issues
Requests within 48 hours of completion
ArtizanSquare's decision is final

9. Intellectual Property

ArtizanSquare's Property

Our Services and all content, features, and functionality are owned by ArtizanSquare or its licensors.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us a license to use it for providing our Services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

ArtizanSquare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the six months preceding the claim
We are not liable for any actions or omissions of Artizans or Customers
We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Artizans

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ArtizanSquare and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims arising from:

Your use of our Services

Your content submitted to our Services

Your violation of any rights of another person or entity

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute:

1Attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us
2If unresolved, binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria
3Arbitration under Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria
4Arbitrator's decision is final and binding

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by:

Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease.

Accounts deactivated for NSFW or explicit-content violations may submit an appeal to ArtizanSquare Trust and Safety for review.

16. Beta Features and Experimental Services

From time to time, ArtizanSquare may introduce experimental features. These services are provided "as is" and without warranties. Users who opt into these features acknowledge they are in a test phase and agree to use them at their own risk. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify these features without prior notice.
